Kenergy doesn't just happen overnight. It requires a Kentense rehearsal process.
Ryan Gosling's performance as Ken in the "Barbie" movie has captivated the internet once again, this time with the release of rehearsal footage of him jamming out in prep for his musical performance of "I'm Just Ken."
Atlantic Records put out the footage Monday as part of the song's official music video.
In the video, Gosling can be seen in sweatpants and a t-shirt rehearsing the choreography, both on set and in a dance studio. The video also offers a behind-the-scenes look at a chaotic beach fight scene among all the Kens in the film.
Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kingsley Ben-Adir and more of the actors who played Kens are shown in the footage, at one point providing backup vocals for the song in a recording studio.
At another point, director Greta Gerwig can be seen cracking up behind the camera, and, at another, she appears to clasp her hands over her mouth in shock.
Fans took to X, formerly named Twitter, to express delight at the footage and Gosling's committed, impulsive performance.
"If they don’t give Ryan Gosling the Oscar genuinely what are we even doing here," @ZoeRoseBryant wrote.
"Does Ryan gosling know that he just saved a teenage girls life (mine) by just doing this," @jeffbuckleyrry wrote.
"he's just a 42-year-old teenage boy," @fiImgal wrote.

Following the film's premiere, Gosling began garnering Oscar-buzz for his turn as Ken.
"I can't officially quit Twitter before telling you all that #Barbie is currently my favorite film of the year," @JamieCinematics tweeted. "Greta Gerwig somehow exceeded my expectations. She tackles the positives and negatives of Barbie so beautifully. Give Ryan Gosling an Oscar nomination, I'm dead serious!"
"#Barbie is Ryan Gosling’s best role to date—Greta Gerwig takes everything that has made him great in his previous films and combines them into a Super-Gosling," @EHeckler wrote. "The Oscar buzz is real, and if it happens it would be one of the most fun and inspired nominations in recent memory."
